New Jersey Firefighting - NJ Firefighters Social Network

January 3, 2015 - At around 1am, Blairstown Firefighters were alerted for a reported house fire at 39 Hope Road.  Upon arrival of first due units, a full box alarm was immediately requested for a fully involved structure.

The people who were inside the home at the time safely got out by the time firefighters arrived.

One firefighter from the Green Township Fire Department went to the hospital after slipping on ice and spraining an ankle.

Firefighters from Allamuchy, Blairstown, Fredon, Green, Hope, Knowlton and Stillwater Townships, along with the Mountain Lake Fire Company in Liberty Township, responded. The Blairstown Ambulance Corp, Blairstown Police Department and New Jersey State Police were also on scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation but does not look to be suspicious.
