Come see us at Wildwood! We have a table in the convention center and a tent just outside the convention center main entrance. There will be tshirts, hats, pins and more for sale. Also find out about the museum collection and the memorial project. We welcome your visit.

There's another reason for me to dislike Governor Jim. Even though I didn't support him in the election I thought he would do good. Now as we all know is not a good time for any type of fundraising.

Rich,
The money was allocated but Governor McGreevey pulled the funding. We submit bills to renew the funding every year with little hope at this time that they will pass. There are several approaches to getting major finding that we are pursuing and hopefully one of them will come through. Again, if anyone has any suggestions that may help us, please contact us.

What happened to the $2 million appropriated by the legislature years ago? I realized that it might not have been enough for something super glorious but it would have been a start.

Welcome everyone.

I agree that money is needed as well as a home to make this a reality. The Board of Directors are working hard to see this come to fruition.
Like bob stated, to help, please contact us.

Rich is right. It is a shame. The big problem is money. In the last five years a group of people have joined the board of directors and have brought the treasury from essentially zero to fifty thousand dollars. We have a long way to go but we are working hard to realize our goal. If anyone is interested in help with the museum or the memorial, please contact us through our website njfiremuseum.org or my personal email rc.burns@verizon.net.

I have been a member of the New Jersey Fallen Firefighters for about five years. It is a shame that in 28 years nothing more than planning has taken place.
