I've been doing the fire-rescue-EMS thing since 1995. Got my start in Pittsgrove Twp, Salem County as a Junior Firefighter & worked my way up to Lieutenant until I moved to Cumberland County. After two years in Maurice RIver Twp, one serving as Assitant Chief, I moved to the City of Millville. I am currently proudly serving the Millville Fire Dept as a firefighter & member of the Decon, Tech Rescue, & Rapid Intervention teams. Firefighting is a little different here in the city than it was in the farmlands & wetlands of my previous departments and I am loving it. The change has been a shot in the arm to my love of the fire service. I am also a Level 1 Fire Instructor with the Cumberland County Training Center. As for EMS, I bounced around a few volunteer squads for a few years until I finally bit the bullet & became an EMT. I currently work full time as a Shift Supervisor & Lieutenant for Belleplain EMS in Cape May County. Although most of the time I fail miserably, I try to serve the Lord and spread His gospel. And yes, I am a total geek and can turn almost any conversation into a history lesson.
